Cirujana ยท Last updated: October 21, 2026

Cirujana ("the app") is an Android app for keeping a personal log of surgeries. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

Data stored on your phone

The app stores the surgeries you enter (date, case number, procedure type, status and notes), the procedure types you create, the edit history and the trash. This data is saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. The app has no server and does not send this data anywhere, except for the optional Google Drive backup described below.

Google Drive backup

If you choose to connect Google Drive, the app asks Google for permission to use the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. With this permission the app can only create and update files that it created itself; it cannot see or change any other file in your Drive.

The app uses this permission only to save two files in your own Google Drive and to keep them up to date:

These files are stored in your Google account and are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. You can delete them from Google Drive at any time, and you can remove the app's access from your Google account settings at any time.

What the app does not do

Google API services

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on the phone. Backup files in Google Drive stay there until you delete them yourself.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
